My Digital Xbox one is freezing on the home screen

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that your console is frozen when you are on the home screen. We recommend

power cycling the console by holding down the power button on the console for ten seconds. Do any other controllers work when they are connected to your console? If this does not resolve the issue, we recommend performing a soft factory reset. This type
of factory reset will keep all games and applications installed, but it will remove all the profiles from the console.

Typically, you perform the factory reset from the console's settings. However, you will need to access the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter since your home screen is frozen. We will provide steps on how to access the troubleshooter. Be sure to let
us know the results simplysaloth!

How to access the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter:

1. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.
   
2. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.
3. Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
   EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
   Xbox button on the console.
   Note The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition does not have an
   EJECT button. You can bring up the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter on this console by holding only the
   BIND button (steps 3 & 4) and then pressing the Xbox button.
   
4. Continue holding the BIND and
   EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.
5. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
   BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.
   
6. The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

To reset your console from the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter, use the
D-pad and A button on your controller to select
Reset this Xbox. When prompted, select Keep my Games & Apps

my first one kept going to the home screen the one 2nd and 3rd mine keeps freezing up

I have the full game and warzone downloaded digitally through game sharing. The game loads and i can play for a few minutes the the game freezes and takes me back to the xbox home screen. Any help?

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Sorry to hear about the issue with MXGP 3. Does the game crash, and revert the console back to the home screen? If the game freezes on the title screen and stays there, is the console able to be taken back

I cant get mine to work either. Its brand new (even a rented one would not work) when i can get the screen to show up it will just freeze up at the first menu. I can not return to home screen when it freezes. My xbox is xbox 360 slim (no internal hard drive)
