my digital copy of Flight sim. has disappeared from my system , How do i re-install it ?

any content that you own should show up in your Library and from there you can install/download it again.
On a console you can find your library in the My Games & Apps section and on PC you should be able to see it via the Store app on the Library button (bottom left). Just be sure you are signed in with the account that owns the content

Hi thanks for the message, I'm confused about Microsoft accounts, I purchased flight sim from a thrid party vendor who provided me with a code to enter when I reached the Microsoft store to download the sim, which I did back in March of 2021.

My sign in details for microsoft store ask me to enter my pin which is 4 digits and I do this and then gain access and this is how I purchase my Marketplace add ons from within the sim by using the same 4 digit code.

I have no understanding of xbox accounts or other Microsoft accounts and being signed into the coreect one, two or 3 in order to download the sim.

I downloaded the original flight sim from within the Microsoft store BUT I now note it wants me to use my xbox account, and maybe this is the issue as although I can sign into this account I have no idea if t tallies with anything to do with my microsoft account.

All I know is that I am unable to install the app.

I have spent over £500 in Marketplace of flight simulator and there has never been an issue when it comes to taking my money so why is there now an issue when it comes to re installing the sim?

Surely installing/re-installing a sim should not be this painful?

I have digital copy so that 3 hour install doesn't really tickle my fancy. also the game has disappeared from the Store. Activision seems to be aware of the problem and are working to fix it.

Unfortunately you will not be able to install the Microsoft Flight Sim X software back onto your PC without the DVD Drive. They are working on a newer version of the Flight Sim for PC which I believe will offer a digital version.

I tried everything suggested to download the files on my desktop pc, but nothing worked for me. What I did do was to install MS flight sim onto my laptop, run the update and then copy the content of the folder to my desktop pc via an external drive. It work
fine and so did the small update that came after the initial install.
