My copy of minecraft java disappeared from my account

This is an old question that I've been too busy to solve. Regarding this linked issue, also posted by me.

I no longer own the minecraft (java) copy after a 6-month break - Microsoft Community

Here are some supplementary info regarding the previous reply:

- We can suggest these steps for basic troubleshooting. Please follow the instruction below,

Delete the Launchers that exist on your computer that are not official Mojang; - None of those were ever installed;

Restart your computer; - Already done that;

Download the original software again and install https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/download - Already done that.

... log out and log back in with the official launcher ... - Already done that as well.

I got a new PC recently, installed everything fresh, logged in and still it asks me to buy Minecraft. I'm not on game pass or anything similar, I bought a copy of Java from mojang years ago.

We are experiencing a similar situation. We purchased two Minecraft Java Editions and migrated both accounts to Microsoft. A few weeks ago, the Java Edition disappeared from one account, while it remains on the other. We're receiving no support from Microsoft.

It's like talking into a void.

I do not have a receipt for Minecraft Java Edition on my Microsoft account because I bought it through the Mojang store before the Microsoft/Mojang account integration that happened a few years ago. Thus, my Microsoft account doesn't have a receipt for it because I didn't buy it through Microsoft. I can give my Minecraft username as evidence that I had a copy of Java Edition but besides that I have no other evidence. Now that my Mojang account has been migrated to Microsoft, I can't log in to it to prove I own a copy of Java Edition.
