My Controller Model 1537 has bluetooth and audio jack

Hello. I bought a new controller with model 1537 (as stated at the battery compartment) color white from someone on facebook. Said he got it from amazon. Though it looks like the newer versions, you know having the top part with the same plastic material as with the whole controller itself and not the shiny one. What catches me is that it has an audio jack and bluetooth.

    Is the controller legit?

    Thanks in advance!

    :)

    Bluetooth? Xbox windows wireless adapter

If your controller model is 1708 and 1797 (elite v2),

you can use bluetooth connect the pc / mobile phone.

1537, 1697, 1698 (elite) is not support bluetooth.
    My model is 1708

    XBOX ONE controller doesn'T connect

    Hi nvsss58,

I believe that model 1537 is the first gen of Xbox One controllers, it does not have Bluetooth connectivity. When connecting to the Xbox it uses 2.4ghz to connect.

The Bluetooth capable controllers are from model 1708 (released 2016) onwards.

    Hope this helps.

Questions about the wireless usb receivers for Xbox Controllers.

Thanks for the educative information, I'm not asking if it has Bluetooth support or not, but my question is stating if the Microsoft Wireless USB Adapter would work on the Model 1537s if I were to buy and use it?

Is there a way to get audio through the controller without using Bluetooth for the series X controller on a Samsung TV?

I believe that Xbox controllers only transmit and receive audio through the Xbox wireless signal and not via Bluetooth. If using Bluetooth to connect the controller, you need to use a different method for audio. Wired controllers and controllers connected with the Microsoft wireless dongle can use the headphone jack for audio.
