    My controller is stuck moving down


    Whenever my controller turned on its acting as if I were holding down. It's taking me to the bottom of every menu I open instantly. There's nothing wrong with my controller (Elite Series 2) physically from what I can tell. It started completely out of nowhere when I turned my controller on after it turned off due to inactivity.

    Of course, i’m on an Xbox Series X and the problem still persists when I use the controller when plugged in via USB. And how do I check my controller for updates when I can’t navigate any menus?

    If you don't mind, I'd like to ask you a couple of questions:

    - May I ask which Xbox model or device you are using this controller with?

    - Have you verified if the same happens when plugged in via USB cable? If the issue is not present when plugged in, could you check if your controller needs any updates?

    Today I'm having the same issue. My wirless Xbox One Controller isn't working properly. If I press the down botton on the D-pad, it keep stuck and moving down forever and my A, B, Start and other buttons stop working :|

    Controller drift.

    Drifting one direction. I can clearly see the stick get stuck when moving the analog stick. It doesnt reset to the middle. Ever. Disappointed. Fustrated. Using my old controller after the joy of receiving a new one is just a let down..

    Sensativity issue

    If you have the Xbox Control App, I would double check you have the setting in the correct way first. If it is just in game, check the in game sensitivity. If it is happening while at the home screen of your Xbox, this might mean a button is stuck on.
    I have noticed it you have a button held down and move the joysticks around they move incredibly fast. If a button is stuck you will have to try and see if you are within the warranty period or replace the controller.
