    Hi, so to put it short ive been having problems with my Controller damaging my headphones after a while, i thought it was the headphones but ive bought 5 headphones already (different brands) and it
    has happened to all of them the same way. Anyone knows what is happening?

    Its the ear buds. I know the its the same jack but they are no good for controllers. Its better to use gaming headsets. If its too much right now, they do have 10$ ones at walmart that are not to bad. The reason i know its the ear buds is because I went
    through it with my kids.

    Have you tried using other controllers to verify if the headphones are still working?

    They have been earbuds directly connected to the controller, i use them for long periods so cant use actual headphones or they'll get all sweaty and start to hurt my ears. I honestly dont know what to do anymore cause is getting expensive and i dont have
    much money to be throwing it around ...

    Honestly that's pretty weird, if you were having problems also with the old controller I do not know why it happens...

    What kind of headphones are you buying? If th problems is not directly cause by the controller, maybe is related to the quality of the cable/connector of the hadphones.

    Maybe you should try with some wireless headset to connect directly to the console, in this way you will not encounter this problems anymore...

    Is not, it came out of warranty a few months ago the thing is it was happening with my old controller too. Thats why i ended up buying another one. Guess i have no hope
