My controller is continuously drifting up. Do I get a refund or replacement?

After spending a lot of money on your product and continuing spending on your game pass I am running out of patience as the controller non stop drifts and has made any game or app unusable. I would like a replacement and I certainly don't want to pay for it as I only bought it less than five months ago. I've seen original x box controllers that still work decade's after purchase, how do you get this so wrong?

Hello Simon, the standard length of warranty for accessories is 90 days and if you'd like to register your accessory to see if you are still under warranty with Microsoft/Xbox, then you may do so; however, if your device is not within the time frame necessary, then you may choose to either pay for a repair (if available) or go through the extended warranty purchased from place where you purchased it. Typically, a 1 year warranty is for the Xbox console itself and not accessories.

small rate of failure! Well since my last post i was unable to get a refund so i sent it to microsoft to be be replaced..... well the one they replaced is now replaced that will be my 7th pad! Google it boys and girls there is a law suit agaist mircosoft
for drifting controllers that been announced in the last couple of days!

ive had my X1 since launch and both my controllers are junk. they both have left thumb stick drift. one controllers drifts down and the other up and right. but if you look at my controllers both are centers by eye.

I ended up yesterday going and buying the new call of duty limited edition controller for 70.00. I love it but do HOPE they have learned and this controller does NOT get those issues. Controllers cost far to much to keep replacing

My original controller stopped working all together. So i bought the titanfall controller it has the drift up. I put it to the side and bought the call of duty controller as of last night it has started the drift up.all the controllers are the offical Microsoft
licensed controllers. The hard reset has not fixed my issue. Now we as coustomers demand an explination and a way of getting items fixed or replaced. Please help the Xbox one become great and help your customers with getting fixed or replaced controllers.
