    My controller has controller drift. Do you know any way to fix this.


    Whenever I move the left joystick upwards it automatically keeps going up so if I am playing any game it makes you go forward without being able to stop it.

    This is the controller I use

    The joystick has a 90-day warranty, microsoft does not carry out out-of-date repairs.

    It just involves some rubbing alchol and cotton swabs.

    Beyond that, if you have a PC, apparently you can recalibrate an Xbox controller on it:

    If the controller has a drifting issue then you will have to wait for the replacement. There really is no fix for drifting issues that I know of.

    My original controller stopped working all together. So i bought the titanfall controller it has the drift up. I put it to the side and bought the call of duty controller as of last night it has started the drift up.all the controllers are the offical Microsoft
    licensed controllers. The hard reset has not fixed my issue. Now we as coustomers demand an explination and a way of getting items fixed or replaced. Please help the Xbox one become great and help your customers with getting fixed or replaced controllers.

    That is strange. I've only ever had stick drift on my old 360 controllers. I don't know if the standard Xbox one controllers have it, but the Xbox Elite controller sticks can be adjusted to have dead zones to avoid drift. Check in the Xbox Accessories
    app if you can adjust it for normal controllers.
    Have my elite controller set up and still drifts. Can't do standard controller. Did notice they drift worse on any COD.
