    Hi, so here's the deal. I have a used Xbox one X with a 1 TB HD and an external 3 TB HD. I'm not sure when it started, but when I'm playing on the Xbox my controller disconnects. After a few seconds the Xbox light on the controller flashes twice and it's reconnected. I play a little bit longer and the same thing happens again and once one controller starts that the other controllers that are being used start doing the same. My system is updated and all my controllers have the most recent update. Another weird thing that happens, especially when I'm playing MW2 with my step-son, my controller disconnects then his controller disconnects and then we switch who has control of who. What I mean by that is my controller that started the game is now the second player controller and the second player controller is the first player controller. It even happened when I connected the controller with a USB cord directly to the system. Anyone have any ideas or fixes that might work, just tonight I tried a hard restart and shortly after I got into the game I was playing it started to disconnect again. It get's so frustrating especially when I'm trying to play with my brother online.

    is anyone having issues where the controllers are constantly disconnecting from the xbox one and then won't reconnect? We got this same console and the controllers disconnect every few days and to get them to reconnect we have to unplug the xbox for 20
    seconds then reconnect it. using the connect buttons on the controller/console does nothing for some reason (no issues like this on the regular xbox one we have). very disappointing.

    Kindly try clearing your console's cache by following the steps below and see if it helps.

    1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.

    2. Unplug the console's power cable. Wait 10 seconds.

    Important Be sure to wait at least 10 seconds. This step resets the power supply.

    3. Plug the console power cable back in.

    4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

    Same issue with my controllers (old and new) it keeps disconnected randomly in the middle of a game for few seconds then reconnect again by it self !! (the glowing Xbox symbol turns off and on as if I restarted my controller). This makes my online gaming
    unplayable and I made all possible fixes for this issue with no success which made me frustrated over the past 2 months. Hope it would be fixed with a simple useful xbox update SOON.
