    My controllee just refuses to be seen on the bluetooth connections screen


    I've tried literally every method to try and fix this but nothing at all has worked and yes it's a standard black bluetooth controller it connects to the xbox just fine. I have a samsung galaxy s8+. My remote is up to date.

    USB or Bluetooth connection

    the Xbox does not even have Bluetooth built into the system, besides you get lots of audio latency via Bluetooth audio which is horrid, and my ps4 never sounded right over Bluetooth.

    most screens you connect the Xbox too have an audio jack and most likely a usb port for power, just attach the speaker to the screen.

    Yes,

    Under Human Interface Devices, as Xbox One Wireless Controller. This is when connected with the Microsoft wireless USB dongle.

    I’ve also seen the controller under game controllers when initially connected via Bluetooth. But I abandoned using it via Bluetooth with my windows 10 pc. Only wireless adapter now.
