    My controlers A + RS wont work...


    so I was in the middle of an FFA game on the brand new COD and all of a sudden my controller disconnects, then I reconnect it and I spawn back in. I then try to run and apparently my RS button is not working. then I try to jump
    and guess what... it does not work either. I've hard reset and unplugged everything. what could possibly fix this?

    cant sync controlers.

    Hmm silly question but you definately are pressing the sync button on the 360 then on the controller? as this should work.. and have you tried more than one controller? (and possibly a wired controller to make sure it works properly)? if this doesnt work
    might be the sensor in the xbox has gone best to phone microsoft xbox technical support if this is the case

    Console trouble to conect with controler

    My xbox 360 S can't conect with the controlers. The round flash lighs start working during seconds but doesn't conect to the controlers, after stop flashing the turn on button light change to red without conection.

    I change the controlers battery and checked the wire conections with no success.

    Xbox Elite Series 2 Controllers disconnects when R Analog is hardly pressed

    I have the same problem and it occurs irrespective of what console or PC it is connected to. Pressing the RS hard seems to disconnect the power in the controller and it becomes unresponsive until plugged in with a cable. Even when plugged in you can see the controller switch off then switch back on when pressing RS. It seems like when the pressure on the RS exceeds a certain point it flexes the board inside the controller causing the internal battery to disconnect (only a theory I cannot prove this) or a short circuit of some kind that forces it to shut down.

    Why did they even change the controls like that? RS knife only promotes panic knifing.

    Thanks for the advice - not sure why I never thought to try it on other games. So I tried on Skyrim and a COD and it works fine. It doesn't work on the dashboard but maybe it doesn't anyway!?

    Anyway - assuming it was a bug in FO3 (which fits with it suddenly happening as I go through a door) I loaded a previous save and it works again! Weird - I've had zero crashes and bugs after 30 hours so this is a very sudden and specific one to discover!

    So I guess it was an ingame bug - very glad I sought advice before just blindly buying a new controller!

    Yeah, you're right, it is actually pretty strange this happens on two different controllers.

    Do the controllers work with other games or in the dashboard or does the error occur just in Fallout 3?

    I think about a bug or something if this only happens in Fallout 3.
