please is there any help i bought this system for xmas for my 8 year old son and its no way he can play his games online his xbox gane tag is

i have no way to return this system and no money to purchase a new one what steps can i take to reach out to the right people to help resolve my problem

If the previous owner has been banned from certain online games, would this affect the new owner? As I understand such bans are for the whole console, so that the banned person cannot just re-enter the game using another sign in and email.

And so, if such bans were for the whole console, rather than single user, then it would no doubt affect the new owner.

Yes this is true. I had a friend buy what he thought to be a "new" console from Walmart. Be brought the console home, hooked it up, connected to Xbox LIVE, and the console was banned from LIVE.

Unfortunately, there is no way to reverse a console ban, especially if you purchased the console second-hand. Console bans are permanent. The Xbox Enforcement team does not reverse console bans, as explained here in the

Device Ban FAQ.

You'll have to try your best in getting your money back from the previous owner, if this is the case.

You (Microsoft) ban brought from abroad Xbox One if you recognize that it's running in not supported country (which you can find out from IP address it's connected from) OR it will not be banned, however, you will block ability to play games?

no it is that because i am now on my brothers console and my account is working on that, but it will not let me go on to xbox live when i am on my own xbox i have been banned for no reason and i am not very happy about it :/

Maybe your brothers and friends have to so much that your IP is baned?
