My clips keep deleting themselves on my external harddrive!

Recently I bought a 2TB external device to use it for clips and general media on my Xbox One S.Everything is working great,I can now record for up to an hour,which is great!However,every time I record a clip,my previous 2 automatically disappear,and I don't
know how to prevent that.It was like that with the internal hard drive too,but I thought it was because there wasn't enough space(it's 500GB).Now I have a whole 2TB external hard drive dedicated exclusively to recording longer clips,but they still disappear
automatically while there is around 1,7TB free space!How can I prevent that,it's super annoying?!

Can you change where Game DVR saves the clips?

can you change where DVR saves the clips you make? Cos you can only save so many videos until it starts complaining about storage space, and I have a ton of space on my internal harddrive on Xbox aswell as my external HD so why is it saying that? or if
not change, then can you export the saved clips to the external HD maybe? Or move them somehow?

Have you tried changing the hdd?

If external harddrive will eventually be supported then I'll wait and see how it goes. I just hope that the update will be released before the harddrive is full and I have to start deleting stuff off of it. From the video, it seems that the Xbox One and PS4 work the same way I don't get why Microsoft don't let people swap out the harddrive.

We're afraid that clips can sometimes be lost if they're only stored locally on your Xbox One console or on an external hard drive. To be safe in this case, it is recommend you upload clips you intend to keep to either/or both of Xbox Live and OneDrive so your
clips are saved there and can be revisited later.

Also if you visit Settings>Preferences>Broadcast & capture on your Xbox One console, you'll want to ensure your default capture location is set to your external storage if that's where you intend to send the clips you have that are quite long in duration.

Did you save the clips to an external, OneDrive, or internal hard drive of the console?
Have you logged into your account on a PC at Xbox.com to review your online captures?

I had these clips i mentioned uploaded to icloud as well and they are gone. there is some typw of bug removing clips which should not be removed

Microsoft should revise this to work the way it was before, this is terrible as far as the user experience is concerned.

If i had a car and the wheels fall off when making a left turn someone telling me to “just make right turns then” would not be a satsfactory response.
