  1. My child's account permissions are not resetting after I submit changes.

My dependencies are up to date, and I'm logged into Microsoft Store app, the Xbox app and the Minecraft launcher using the child account.

When I log into my adult account I can play Minecraft all editions as purchased. That account is also the 'parent' account for my Microsoft Family. My adult account has access to permissions for my child account.

I have purchased a copy of Minecraft Java & Bedrock the child account. I have installed both versions no problems, and both my Minecraft Launcher and Windows are updated current versions.

When I log into the parent account, into Xbox Settings, and then go into 'Privacy & online safety' I can click on K1yo 979 (child account) and look at the 'Xbox and Windows 10 devices Online Safety' tab to what this account is Allowed to do, it shows that the account has full permissions, as per attached screenshot 'permissions'. While in adult account I can change the permissions to Allow and Block for K1yo 979 as it's the adult account. Again--when I'm logged into the parent account it shows that the child account K1yo 979 is Allowed

However, when I log into Xbox Settings in the child account (gamertag K1yo 979), the permissions show the opposite and are unchangeable.

I do not know why the permissions are not saved for K1yo 979 when I change all of the permissions to Allow for K1yo 979 while in the 'adult' account. It makes no sense and I have restarted my computer and Minecraft a few times.

Hope you understand. Am I missing something?

    Thank you,

    Philip

    :)

    Avatar Purchases for Children?

If the purchase is coming from the restricted account(s) then there should be a prompt asking for the password/pass code for the parent account of the child(ren)'s account. (That's how it is on my console.) After entering the password/pass code, you will
be allowed to make purchases on the restricted account for a limited time. Assuming this didn't happen for you, there's another way. You'd have to change the child(ren)'s account permissions, allowing them to make purchases. After the purchases, you may change
the permissions back, restricting the child(ren)'s account once again.

You can't exactly change a child account to an adult account until the child has actually turned 18. However, you can change their permissions. You need to log into the adult account, and under family settings, you can change the permissions of your child's
    account.

Child added as family, cannot add friends

with child accounts, if I am not mistaken will require permission access regardless of permissions. The only way I know of on how to change that is to sign into her account and set all permissions to open for a minute add then set them back.

"You cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft account is set up." Help?

Make sure you aren’t using a child account. If you are, a parent account could have changed the permissions.

As parental account you should chang the privacy settings for the child account in order to give permission to play online.
