My child was console banned.

Hi. Today my son signed into his xbox and found that he was console banned. We went to the enforcement page and he shows 0 strikes against him. He's a good kid. The only thing we can think is the other day he made a few accounts to play on to protect his base on a game called Dayz. We're all unaware of why he was banned and would like to speak to someone about the misunderstanding.

Jesse I don’t think he knows what he has. I believe he saw the word Permanent and assumed Console ban. I’m pretty sure a child under 10 wouldn’t be console banned without some severe issues. I don’t think foul language alone would get you console banned.

sleepystu1974, i'm right with you. My console was recently banned and, so far, have found out nothing about it. Xbox is very childish on this matter. Although they state to take it very seriously and that they do multiple investigations prior to the banning
they fail to notify their paying clients with all of their findings. And when a client inquires they are met with a brick wall. I could compare it to a parent giving the reason "because" to his child. The links given are of no help and the fact that they
don't want to talk about it rings a few bells with me that they may have something to hide.

Although it's not the case with my console i was wondering what would happen if my son was old enough to play Xbox and had his console banned. As his father and the opener of wallet when it came to buying the now banned xbox let alone the new one, i'd like
to know what my child did wrong so that i could discipline him accordingly.

I am sorry to hear about this, but Xbox is very firm on this. They will most likely not reverse the ban because, although you may be genuine, they probably get a lot of people that say, "It was my friend, child, etc." They are
trying to make an enjoyable community for the fair players and have Xbox Live Terms and Service for a reason. If the rules are broken, by anyone using the GT/console, no matter who, it will be banned/ suspended accordingly. I'm sorry but I don't think they
will reverse it as they don't know for sure it was your child who did it.

So the account you are posting on here which shows as Silver is the top account with the account that was banned a child of that account?

You do know that in the case of a ban, either account or console, that false reports are discarded and don't factor into any Enforcement action, live streamer or not? An account ban is never automated.
