    my childs account got communication suspended for no reason at all. He replied to hate messages without the use of profanity or anything else, until the 17th. I want to get rid of the ban because of how ridiculous it is. Please help

    BIO (account suspention)

    MY live account was suspended for two days because I have profanity on my BIO. Other people use profanity as there gamer tags. I find this completly unfair and I need to know if there is anyway to have this reversed seeing as how i use my xbox for family
    tv as well.

    Suspension

    Hi there,

    I got a communications suspension tonight about an hour ago for a message I sent to someone that was harrasing me. And I just want to know why I was suspended for sending a retaliatory message back to someone who was harrasing me online? I get that I did
    use profanity (only one word) towards them. But is it really fair if the other person is instigating it? I get hate messages nearly every time I play this game, never do I send them out myself. So I find it unfair that I was suspended for responding back to
    someone.

    Case review allows players to submit an inquiry directly to Xbox Live Policy & Enforcement Team (XBLPET) through the account’s enforcement history. An XBLPET representative will then thoroughly review the suspension and answer any questions about the action.

    This is the only message I have ever sent with profanity so it was definitely the same message/person. I also blocked the person after I was was suspended. I still don’t understand how I can get suspended twice for the same thing.

    Code of Conduct

    I was banned for using mild profanity IE [Mod removed-profanity]. Fair enough if it's part of your Code of Conduct.

    Why however is it acceptable for gamers to use homophobic abuse and or homophobic inuendo without receiving a suspension or even a warning once reported ? Even if it can be quite explicit but not profane.

    If people have used language that goes against code of conduct it will be investigated if reported. However findings of investigations is between Microsoft and the person who's account has committed the infraction.

    He sent a message two days later which tells me he wasn't suspended as he still had access to XBL services

    Your amazing safety team has chosen to put a suspension on my account for saying “2v2 c’mon [Mod Removed-Profanity] after this guy was trash talking after playing a game.

    how do you explain this? You suspend my account for simply challenging him after he trash talks? Sort your code of conduct out. If your going to suspend someone for challenging a trash talker suspend the other account too.
    Enforcement related questions are best addressed through the enforcement site:
    enforcement.xbox.com. By using profanity you are violating the ToS. You are best not to engage the person and instead just report their conduct. Many times messages are sent trying
    to get a response like yours so they can report you as such. Bust not to engage in it.
