My charging port doesn't work help needed

It need repair the port on the front doesn’t work and it won’t keep a charge.

Sounds like the charging port/micro usb port on the controller is broken. So the controller is not getting enough charge and why it turns off immediately. But then you say it doesn't work with batteries also so the controller itself is broken then. Did
you check for corrosion?

does it find wireless networks? or doesn't work at all if it doesn't find any then it may be that the network adapter needs repair or if it finds them and just doesn't connect it could be firewall blocking it which means you will need to look at port

You can charge anything via the USB ports, I use it to charge my phone and tablet all the time

This is an NBA 2K error code and not a Microsoft one. You need to contact their tech support.

It is allegedly caused by an inability to connect to their servers.

Please make sure the following ports are open on your router for Xbox Live. If you need help please call your ISP or router manufacturer as every one is different

If this doesn't work you'll need to work with their tech support, as only they know what ports and other things they're using
