My brand new Xbox series x makes a clunking noise wen I power it on is this normally?

The noise you are hearing is most likely from the disc drive setting itself up. You've got nothing to worry If, for some reason, something does go wrong or you're experiencing any technical issues within the console, you can have your console repaired for free as long as if it's under warranty. You're lucky you still have the blu-ray drive clunking noise on startup! lol

After...I think the February Updates, my Xbox One (which was perfect, mind you!) neglects to initialize the blu ray drive if I use the "instant-on" feature (now, I have to wake it up manually, by pressing the eject button to hear the clunking noise). Then
I opted out of the preview beta...and it still hasnt come back to normal.

Man. Microsoft is slacking. smh.

Happened to me too but wen i plug the jack in the adaper half way it makes noise but wen i speak it stops if i hit it make noise showing the mic is still good

I just bought a brand new Xbox One X, but when I go to the store, Flight Simulator and other Xbox Series X/S games say they are "not playable on this device" and I can't get Flight Simulator to install on my brand new Xbox One X because it says it's "not compatible". Very frustrating.

So you bought an Xbox One X and expected to be able to play an Xbox Series X game on it?

Why would a game made for an Xbox Series X work on an Xbox One X?

If you want to play Xbox Series X/S games I would take your brand new Xbox One X back to the store you bought it and see if they will take it back and you could try and buy an Xbox Series S (Series X consoles are very hard to find, but a Series S can be found fairly easilly)
