    My brand new xbox controller wont turn on


    I bought this controller about 2 months ago it just sat on my desk I didn’t drop it or anything then when I finally used it with completely new batteries it wouldn’t turn on so I tried plugging in a usb cable and it still wont turn on the light wont flash I can’t sync it to my xbox or even reset the controller.

    I have the same issue with 3 brand new controllers and 3 brand new plug and play batteries. Controllers work just fine with the cable and battery removed, but do not charge when the battery is installed. Ive tried different xbox live accounts and a different
    xbox, still wont charge the battery.

    Question about the controller

    Ok so my Xbox one controller wont turn on. I have charged it for about an hour and it still will not work. I've tried brand new AA batteries but the only thing it'll do is blink twice then turn off. When I use a usb cable it flickers spastically then eventually
    stops. I've tried unplugging the Xbox and waiting ten minutes. Nothing is working. I've only had it since last Christmas and barely ever drop the controller. Some help would be GREATLY appreaciated.

    We can't turn on your console

    Picked up a brand new router and connected just the xbox1 and my computer to it.

    Still cant turn the xbox one on using apps

    When sending the turn on signal from the app I can see activity lights flashing.... then turn off...then flash again

    Like the app is sending the signal and the nic is receiving it but it wont turn on

    I am having this problem as well. Brand new series x, brand new controller, brand new batteries. System is up to date and so is the controller. Has to be a software issue, this does not happen on my Xbox One.
