Regarding your concern, the update on your headset failed? Because if it did, you may need to reach out to the manufacturer so that you can have its firmware updated.

Consider switching to the updated wireless headset or the steel series Arctis 7x both are great options.

You can use the Steelseries Arctis 7x for XSX, PS5 and PC.

I've got the Arctis 7P, which is only compatible with PS5 and PC, so be careful when buying.

The only issue is, you have to use a USB-C Dongle to use it on the consoles, not like the Xbox Wireless Headset, which directly connects to the Xbox.

Firstly, I would like to ask if you have tried resetting your Xbox One console and the headset. If not, please try resetting both devices and then try to connect them again. Here are the steps to reset your Xbox One console:



1. Press and hold the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.

2. After the console has completely shut down, wait for a few seconds and then turn it back on.



To reset your Arctis Nova 7x Wireless headset, please follow these steps:



1. Turn off the headset.

2. Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.

3. Release the power button.

4. Turn on the headset.



If resetting both devices does not resolve the issue, please try the following steps:



1. Unplug the wireless dongle from your Xbox One console.

2. Wait for a few seconds and then plug it back in.

3. Turn on your headset and set the dongle to Xbox mode.

4. Press and hold the pairing button on the dongle until the LED light starts flashing.

5. Press and hold the power button on the headset until the LED light on the dongle stops flashing and remains solid.



If the above steps do not work, please try connecting the headset to your Xbox One using a wired connection. If the headset works with a wired connection, then the issue may be with the wireless connection.



Lastly, I would like to suggest that you check if your Xbox One console and the headset are both running on the latest firmware. You can check for firmware updates on your Xbox One console by going to Settings > System > Updates & downloads. You can check for firmware updates on your Arctis Nova 7x Wireless headset by downloading the SteelSeries Engine software from their website.
