    My Apex legends game has been corrupted on my Xbox for the longest, I've tried so many...


    Now I have just Uninstalled Apex, made space, tried to download it and it went straight to the installation stopped message, after trying multiple times to start the download again it jus stopped. So I cancel the download, turn off keep my games up to date and all that, clear data, which restarts the console, and now Apex is back in my library at the very bottom, no storage used, just the game, sitting there and I can't play it or install it again.

    Once I click on it it says "there was a problem launching your game or app" and that's as far as I can go...‍♂️

    Please help, I've been dealing with this for too long with no help at all.

    I would pick Apex Legends. It's free to play, fun to play, and I can't stop playing. I've sunk so many hours into Pubg but Apex is my new favorite.

    I dont have an external hard drive, so when I did that, after I got it set back up on my account I looked at my games to see Apex in the same spot, at the bottom, with no amount of storage over it unlike the rest of my my games which do. I uninstalled it, noticed I had abt 40/50 gb more of storage than I remembered before resetting, tried to reinstall it, and it installation stopped me again. What should I do?

    Thank you for that and I apologize for the trouble but we may need to reset the console removing everything. This will uninstall all of your games and apps but you can reinstall them later on.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you with your concern.

    Do you have an external hard drive plugged into your console? If yes, please unplug the hard drive and then perform a power cycle before attempting to install a game again, keep the hard drive unplugged.

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​"

    If you don't have an external hard drive we may need to reset the console keeping your games and apps. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

    "Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

    Select Reset console.

    Reset and keep my games & apps."
