My Achievements have stopped unlocking

Firstly I hope this is the right area to post this - apologies if it's not.

My Achievements are no longer unlocking or even registering their progress. I've a funny feeling this has been going on for a while - the last one that unlocked on my Xbox One was April - I'm not entirely sure when exactly it started but it must have been
sometime after that date. I first noticed it a few weeks ago in the game White Night - the achievements Last Bullet and Hothead for example which are easy to replicate. Since then I've noticed that Forza Horizon 2 which has many achievements which you can
see the percentage complete has stopped registering any changes - for example Smash Happy (collect all 150 Reward boards) has stuck on 73% even though I have collected them all.

I have checked online and my achievements there are the same (incorrect), I have done all the troubleshooting suggested on the support.Xbox website including deleting and re adding my profile on my console, and filled out the survey about achievements that
don't unlock

Has anyone else come across this issue, any idea if there is a fix?

Achievements not unlocking for Backwards Compatibility Games

For Borderlands, Gears of War 2, and now Saints Row IV, no achievements are unlocking. I have beaten Gears of War 2, achievements stopped unlocking after Chapter 2.

Progression achievements, such as Kill 100,000 enemies, are reset to 0 each time I log in.

Customer Support said to post here.

Achievement Problem.

Hi all. I am having a problen with achievements not unlocking for me on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on The Ezio Collection. I was playing yesterday and the achievements stopped unlocking. This morning i played a different game and the achievements worked
fine on that...

 

For this situation I would recommend a hard reset. This will get rid of the cache on your Xbox.www.ign.com/.../How_to_do_a_Hard_Restart_on_Xbox_One

Thanks for the reply - I've tried that and no dice sadly. I've tried it again anyway as it can't harm. What is also interesting is that i've just noticed my user Icon with the 5 most recent games is only showing my Xbox360 titles... This does kind of point
to an issue with my xbox rather than my live service.

I'll wait a few days to see if there is any change then contact Xbox Support, but if anyone has any other suggestions I'm all ears.

 

Hey Stuart, the forums here are only set to use 360 profiles, so only show the latest 360 games. and your old Gamerpic.

I find that some titles are very slow to unlock achievements, however, it may be worth trying to remove and recover your account.

Yes I tried removing my profile and then adding it back again like you suggest, sadly It didn't help. I think something else might be up other than it being slow as i've tested 3 games now Massive Chalice, Forza Horizon 2 and White Night and no achievements
are coming through - the White Night Achievements should of unlocked weeks ago!

Try looking at this and tell if any of it works.

Sometimes the Xbox Live System doesn't register achievements correctly. Some will just unlock at some point in the future when you launch the game and others you may have to just re-play to get them.

Another possibility is that they are unlocked on the system but not "fully" unlocked you can check this by snapping the Xbox live Profile. It may say "Done Unlocking"

Mikael: Yes Thats the page that brought me here - i have followed those instructions.

GMYT: Thanks, but this has been going on for approx 3 months now, and I have repeatedly tried to unlock those achievements but no luck sadly. I have even downloaded a brand new game I hadn't played before just to test and it's achievements didn't unlock
either.

About the only things I haven't done is trying my profile on another's Xbox One, resetting my Xbox One back to factory conditions, or making a new profile and testing that.

this sticky. Follow all of the instructions in there for your particular achievement issue. There is a survey at the bottom of that post that you will need to fill out once you
have completed all the troubleshooting steps. If you have already filled out that survey, terrific! You will receive an email response once the investigation is completed.
