Please ensure that your new email address is the one linked to your Microsoft account because when an email change is made, the confirmation for the new address might be pending. Look in your spam, junk, or filtered folders for any messages from Microsoft or Xbox.

And then resend the verification code because by simply requesting the code again after a short wait can help, especially if there’s a minor delay in the system.

If you previously set up alternative security verification methods such as a phone number or secondary email, please see if you can use them to receive the verification code. Next is to check if you can update security settings from another device where you might already be signed in or have saved credentials.

After that is to clear your browser’s cache or kindly log in on another device. If incase that the issue persist, connect to a different network like switching from mobile data to Wi-Fi and please see if that makes a difference.

The verification code is a form of security on your account whenever you make critical changes on it just like changing the password. If you do no longer have access on your account's security proofs, you may add a new one where you can receive the verification
code, however, there would be a 30 days lockdown before the changes takes effect not unless you were able to verify ownership of your account using the verification code.

Did you even read what i wrote up there?? “ I have bought in-game items before via mobile.” Like i told before i have checked and tried everything but nothing seems to work. Im getting verifications codes and
SMS for other stuff on my mobile except for xbox mobile payments. Ive cross checked everything, im just not
