    My account was permanently banned for cheating?


    So i login today and it says my account was banned and at that point already I'm shaking because I'm a day 1 loyal Xbox customer and I would never try to cheat or mod anything. I have contacted Xbox for a case review and they should get this sorted out
    as quickly as possible since it is a perm ban but if they do not unban me they might lose yet another 10 year old loyal Xbox account which is very sad to even say but i have spent over $5000 on my account and they wont even let me get my money back from all
    the games, addons and other items I have purchased. I would love to get my account unbanned please because I have done nothing wrong. I wasn't even online at the time of the ban which I don't even know how is possible unless my account was hacked. If my account
    was hacked then my account should be unbanned and I should be prompted to change my info immediately. But again I just think that its unfair to ban an account for saying "cheating" but they wont even say what game you might have cheated in but again I wasn't
    even online at the time of the ban and for people getting banned for cheating I know this because I have a friend that this has happened to before, he was online and was cheating and got banned fast but I was not at the time and was sleeping so I would love
    a reply back and please to unban my account. Sorry for the ramble but I'm just shocked that they would ban a loyal account that has never once cheated in a video game... ONCE...

    In some cases, they will give more specific details in the results of the case review.

    But again i wasnt online at the time of the ban that says i was cheating in so... did my account get hacked then?
    Not necessarily. As stated before, investigations take time, so the ban could be for something that took place days or weeks beforehand. The ban would not have been issued at the same time that the activity took place.

    But gearbox literally said they love people modding their game... So at that point they cannot ban me or anyone!

    Yes. Knowingly playing with someone who is using mods can result in a ban.

    Because I would love to know what game I was "cheating" in and how I would get banned for cheating at 8:34 AM in the morning cheating and hacking when I was asleep?? I want to know how they can explain that and before like a minute after they took down
    one of my looking for group posts which I don't know why they would do that.
