    My account was hacked how do I get it back


    My account pc was hacked and my account had gotten taken from me im very frustrated ive had this account since I was 8 im now 24 so it has years of game purchases and other stuff on it and im very upset i tried contacting Microsoft for three months now to get my account back but they keep saying they can’t help im getting super fed up with Microsoft and im about to fly to one of their headquarter and bring this issue up in person because this is just wrong like does anyone have any idea on how I can get it back like ive tried almost everything and spent hours and hours online looking

    If your account was under the gmail domain then you need to contact Google :(

    Microsoft can not do anything if it was not a "Microsoft" account :(

    Hello Neil_400, , I'm sorry about what happened to your account, however in this case you should contact Xbox Customer Service via chat and request an ATO (Account Takeover), this is because this forum is public viewing and unfortunately as independent consultants we do not have access there is some data and procedures that Xbox Support has.

    However, ATO is a similar procedure to the online form, but done by a Microsoft agent, it will need as much information as possible for you to do the procedure.

    Here in the community we are independent consultants, so we do not have access to the same information and tools that support has.

    Each account recovery case is unique, and if you request the ATO, you must wait for a response from Microsoft's investigation department.
