My account was hacked and I need a refund on three gift card purchases

If this was an epic fortnite card, then you will need to contact Epic for a refund. If however this was an Xbox gift card, then you will need to log in with the account that purchased the card, and request a refund here

i appreciate the response, but is there any way i can request that any refund given be credited directly to my XBL account, rather than the cards that were used? the reason i ask is that one of the cards was a non-reloadable gift card. If they try to refund
to the card for the non-gift purchase i made, then both myself and XBL will be out 50 bucks, and that just sucks for everyone involved.

if it goes straight to my XBL account, i will gladly spend it on more XBL purchases.

Is it possible if I bought something with my balance and then refund it to get refunded in a gift card for example? I don't necessarily need to get refunded in money. If a gift card is possible I would be helped tremendously!

No, it would just get refunded to your account balance in that situation. Refunds always go back to the original purchase method, in this case your account balance.

As Brad said, request a refund. With that, I would then recommend that you look into purchasing a Xbox gift card FOR HIS COUNTRY for him to purchase it on his account. Again stressing region there, as the gift cards are region specific as well.
