If your money was used, the transactions should appear on your order history. Kindly double check your Microsoft balance through https://account.microsoft.com > Payment & billing > Payment options.

Could it be possible that your Microsoft balance was put into your other account? Try to check your other accounts if you have multiple Microsoft accounts.
