    My account was forced to migrate to the Java/Bedrock edition, and it now appears that I have to repurchase the game? Why can I not just relog into my account?

    Both Java and Bedrock Minecraft missing from my migrated account?

    I have one Mojang account with Java edition, and the other account is a Microsoft account with Bedrock-Windows 10 edition. I migrated the Mojang account to the Microsoft account with Bedrock.

    Trying to make me repurchase Java edition

    As said before I made sure to migrate the account. I signed in with my microsoft account. I still show my java edition username and skin. However, it still wants me to repurchase the game. I also own bedrock edition but wants me to purchase it also. I tried the uninstall, reinstall, and restart to no avail. Still wants to make me purchase both editions once again.

    I'm being asked to buy Minecraft: Java and Bedrock edition although I have already owned Bedrock for years and I have Java on my laptop.

    The Xbox edition of Minecraft in the screenshot is still the Bedrock edition, is it not? I should have access to Java through owning the Bedrock edition, and I don't understand why I wouldn't be able to play it if I played Java in the past with my Microsoft account without having to buy Java.

    Minecraft.

    Everyone who bought the bedrock edition has the access to Java edition, you just need to migrate the Mojang account to a Microsoft account, which gets you access to the java edition.
