My account says I'm a child but the parent account says I'm a adult and I can't change it.

My xbox live account says that I'm a child in the family however on the parent account it says I'm a child. I have changed it a few times and nothing has happened and I have even signed into my parent account on xbox. Com to try
to change it but sadly I had no luck, I am quite surprised at this as I have been playing for 3 years on xbox live with adult settings and about a week ago it does this. Anyone else have this or know a fix?

hey I'm trying to change my gamerpic with a custom image using xbox beta with my android phone. But it says I'm too young to change it. my account is a child account and it is impossible. I can't figure out how to change my age with my account or with an
adult account.

On Microsoft.com, I am classified in the family as "Adult Member" but whenever I turn on my Xbox one, I am a child on the same account I use for the Xbox one on Microsoft.com Anyway to fix this issue? I can't even make a custom gamer

is this for custom gamerpicture if so then there is no setting

You need to be an adult to have custom gamerpics

 

No it's not it just won't let me see my settings and play online on certain games. And I can't change the account to an adult.

 

When your account was created, it must have been a child account. Until the original birth date that was used when the account was created, reaches the age of 18. Your account will remain a child account until that date. Changing the settings of the account
to Adult settings, does not make the account an adult account. Nor does changing the birth date after the fact. Again, you'll have to wait until that account reaches the age of 18 based on the original birth date of the account.
