My account is saved as a kids. please help me to change

Please be advised that we cannot manually change our account age because the system always recognizes the first date of birth we entered upon the creation of the account.

If your account is still minor, you would need to be part of a Microsoft Family group. Only an organizer or adult account can change a child's privacy settings.

We are having this same problem but have changed nothing! We have xbox gold and one of my kids can use it and the other cannot join parties, send messages or play any multiplayer. Save me before my kid goes insane, please!!!!!!!!!!!

to change an account from kids to adult.. you should go in your privacy and settings of the account and change it from there!

Pay attention that if someone put a code on the kid account, you need it in order to save changes!

If you really did change your kids online and privacy settings on
https://account.xbox.com/settings to allow them to play online, make sure your kids sign out and back in for the changes to take effect.

Make sure that you sign in with your own adult account, and that you see your kids accounts to be selectable. Click on a kid, make the necessary changes, and save these changes before you move from one section to another (e.g. if you changed something in
the Privacy section, save that, and then go to the Windows 10/Xbox One section, make changes, save them, and go to the Xbox 360 settings).

If that doesn't work right away, try to remove the kid's accounts from the console and restart the console by holding the power button for 10 seconds. Then start the console again and download your kids' accounts again.

I'm having the same problem. My kids set up xbox accounts on their iPads and want to play minecraft together. I've spent ages trying to allow them to connect as friends and go into the family settings under my account and click allow friends and click save,
but every time I log back in, it has not saved and still has the ability to add friends blocked. I would really appreciate advice how to give my kids permission to be friends. thanks
