You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at
https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

-or-

2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
back as MyVIP payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as mentioned in our pinned announcement at the top of the forums titled "HEY
YOU! We've got your answer here." (https://forums.xbox.com/en-US/thread/2f5ffacb-bf1e-4fca-8764-f57f69556e55), we no longer award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals
as of July 2014.

MyVIP had a recalibration for the last few years. At the end of the year, we place you in your MyVIP rank for the new year based off your eligible spending from the previous year, and set your progress to the default state. This happened in September 2015
and December 2016. We did not recalibrate this year (December 2017). Since you are a zero star member, you do not get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

Regarding your Gems, we see that your Gems are currently in your account and are on your Gem statement as well as your vault total at the top of the vault page.

The Microsoft Rewards program is a separate program, so we are not fully informed on their issues. You should try contacting their support team via the Microsoft Rewards website.

Support will check into that and post back, but those sound more like credits and not gems since there are currently no offers that award that many gems. They would be listed on the MyRewards section of the site as either pending or deposited in your statement.
There is an offer to earn 1250 credits for making your first purchase. Your statement would list what the 1,000 was from.

If you're not already signed up, you would need to sign up for the Xbox Rewards program -
http://rewards.xbox.com You can view all offers for earning credits on the Missions page of the rewards site.

If you are signed up, you can earn credits for achievements if they are part of a specific offer on the site at the time. Like the current "You Complete Me" offer. In order to receive credits, you have to first purchase a specific type of game(s) to complete
the first part of the offer and then you can earn credits for completing a set number of achievements in the game you purchased.

You can also earn gems to redeem for other prizes. You can earn 2 gems for every 1,000 gamerscore you earn and a number of gems for reaching different achievement levels. Gems just started on October 1, so you would not have been awarded for anything prior
to that date.

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit
terms. Be sure to keep an eye on MyStatement on the
MyRewards page to track your progress and watch your Rewards Credits total grow!

We have not yet calculated last month (or this month's) MyVIP, so it is too early to see the Credits pending. We see that your Gems from purchases are all currently in your account. For reference, you can see a statement of your Gems on the MyRewards page
and the total on the Vault page.

It takes 96 hours for purchases and activity to update on the website so 2 days is far too soon. Subsequently, you need to complete promotions or make eligible purchases to be rewarded. Also, Trove and Gems of War are the only eligible
titles to earn rewards for playing. however you do not receive reward credits, but rather in-game currency for Trove and Sweepstakes entries for Gems of War.
