My account is linked to an email address that no longer exists

Having said this, I also want to mention that Support cannot or is not authorized to help with these types of cases since the only option is through the form.

There, you will have to fill out some information that is required to verify if you are the owner of the account. I went through a similar situation a couple of months ago, and I can attest that the form helped me regain access to my account. Uh, no. The password reset link sends it to the email address listed on the account, which doesn't exist. The longer questionaire will send a response to an alternate email address, but I have filled that out (four times) and the response I got was to
use the password reset link, which sends to the incorrect address... again.

Im having the same issue my old email was a hotmail email but hotmail no longer exists and is still linked to my EA account

Please be advised that it's not possible to add an existing Microsoft email address to a different Microsoft account. The email address @hotmail.co.uk is a Microsoft account itself. You can only add a Microsoft email address as an alias to your other Microsoft account by creating a new one. To add an existing email address as your alias applies to 3rd party email addresses only that are not yet currently linked to Microsoft account.
