My account is hacked with a 2 step so the recovery is useless

I lost access to my account from a hacker and have tried multiple times to get access back and fail everytime. I can provide the new email that the hacker switched it to as well as order ID’s and card numbers. I’ll ever give the date and time I just don’t want to spend $11.99 every month to an account I don’t have access to. At least ban the account I don’t even care if I can’t get it back (I’ve even gotten a new card and am now getting charged to the new one)

Please can you contact your bank about the charge that is been taken out of your bank account and explain to them that you have no access to your Microsoft account. They should be able to dispute the charge and block future charges to your account.

In terms of recovering your account. The Account recovery form will not be any help due to your account having two-factor authentication enabled. You could try contacting Xbox Support via this link: Contact us | Xbox Support

Is there a way i can delete an account that was hacked that i no longer have control of and cant get back because no matter how many people i call to help and recovery forms i fill i get the same results im tired and no longer want anything to do with Microsoft stuff anymore

Hey, thanks for the help guys but also what I forgot to say is that I have 2-step verification on the account but the hacker has changed my phone number but not my alternative email, is there any chance I can get a recovery code even if my account got
hacked?

I think somebody hacked into your account make sure you use 2 step verification so nobody can hack your account again

So what happens when 2 step verification fails? No one a MS can explain this to me. I received a text message at 2 am, by 8 am when I woke up my account "no longer existed". after contacting support at MS they were able to verify that my account had been
changed (phone # removed, email changed etc) but according to the MS tech there was nothing they could do because I had 2 step verification.

I was directed to all the basic reset the password, account recovery form etc - nothing worked!

So for all the MS wizards out there, how does someone get around the or hack the 2 step verification?

By the way, its been 2 weeks, I only found today that MS did nothing about securing my account for 8 days, and by that time the hackers all ready had everything they needed.
