    My Account is age restricted for some reason


    My account is age restricted for some unknown reason, I am not part of any home group nor have ever been, I am trying to download halo infinite for game pass and am getting the error that I am not an adult. I have had my account for at least 16 years and I am 32.

    If your age is correct here https://account.microsoft.com/profile and all your privacy settings are allowed here https://account.xbox.com/en-US/Settings, please try this.

    Open Settings then System -> Apps -> Apps & features -> look for Microsoft Store and click it. ->The advanced options link will appear. Click it. -> On the next page, click on the Reset button to reset Microsoft Store to default settings.

    After that, kindly sign out and sign back in on both Xbox app and Microsoft store app.

    Yes, I figured it out. For whatever reason, there was an age restriction on my Xbox account, probably for my little brother. Anyway, removing the age restriction and trying again worked for me. Try checking if you have any restrictions at all on your account
    (Xbox or Microsoft) and remove them. This should work for you too.

    How exactly did you remove the age restriction? I don´t know how to do that. My brother actually plays on the xbox and I would like to play some destiny 2 there. I play on PS4 and i am getting the same error. Do I change it on the xbox itself?

    I believe that some of the content was restricted by region and user age; it's possible that is the reason you didn't get everything.

    Before you make the leap into Gold Family...be warned. (A Fix!)

    Are Family Gold Plan accounts still restricted to 1 "adult" account and all other being "child" accounts (regardless of age)?

    That is my biggest reason to not sign up for the Family Gold Plan.
