my account has been locked for "too many log in attempts"

That message would tell me that someone has attempted to log into your account and failed too many times. As a security precaution, the account has been temporarily locked. Try using your phone or computer to log into the account having issues and attempt
recovery.

Im having a similar problem, I have to wait the 30 days to change some info like the phone number, but I was able to still use my account yesterday and now its requires all kinds of verifications and info i dont have, so I want to fix the reason I cant play when it says I clearly can, tried calling but places are closed now

is your account locked or is it subject to a communication ban by Xbox Enforcement?

accounts can be locked if there are too many failed log in attempts or other suspicious activity.

if it is an comms ban then you should have a message from Xbox Live telling you that your account has been banned and how long the ban is for.

if it is locked you could try the Compromised Account Solution to try and recover it.

if it is a comms ban then if it is less than 48 hours all you can do is wait it out. if it is longer you may be able to appeal it by going to the Enforcement site
