    My account was hacked last week all of a sudden and my creditcard got charged with and amount in the middle of the night while I was going to bed, I panicked but couldn't call xbox since their opening hours were closed, so I stayed up all night worried ofc
    and the next morning I hurried up and call them and they told me that they could see that it wasn't me who had made the purchase and that they would try and give me back my money, so I was optimistic. But then I waited and waited and nothing happened and today
    I called them and I demanded to talk with their Leader and he was all "you can't claim your account has been hacked", and he basically laughed at me, so now I'm really pissed! I want my money back! My credit card and account got hacked on YOUR servers Microsoft!
    It's not safe to store any information there anymore. I had to close my Creditcard and I don't have any money left thanks to you! This is NOT okay!

    2 Month (and counting) account investigation - is this typical xbox live service?

    just spoke to support... yes my money should have already have been refunded, yes it makes no difference my account has no debit card attached as it will go straight back into the bank account it came from. Yes accessing the account shows an unauthorised
    purchase.... am I getting my money back now NO! an investigation has to be opened as to why my refund hasn't been paid yet....

    So even when your investigation has been concluded and you've been informed of your refund.... you still may not receive it without chasing it up and even then there may be several delays from further investigations.

    Last month on the 26th, my account was hacked, and the person charged a considerable amount to my credit card. I was advised to NOT cancel my credit card because doing so would negatively affect the process of me being refunded my money. On December 12th,
    my account was returned to me by Microsoft and the teams at Windows Live and Xbox. Since I was given my account back, I have STILL not been refunded the money that was charged to my account. The email said it may take 10 days. It has been a few days over and
    I am getting worried. Please help me, Christmas was hard this year without that money! My account has been hacked, yet xbox support still hasn't given me my money back! :(

    Gamer tag took my money but not changing?

    Hello, I have the same issue. A couple days ago I changed my Xbox user but to no avail. The money used went through. It has been 2 days since then and my user still hasn't changed.

    After purchasing the product it stated "Something went wrong. Try your gamertag again". yet money was still withdrawn.

    I have signed in and out and checked my order history. It has appeared completed but my gamertag is still yet to change.

    I pre-ordered the Division 2 about a month ago and still haven't gotten the free month of gamepass

    How did you purchase it? Money on your account or credit card. If money on your account they may wait to give you the month of Gamepass when the money comes out. I've preordered the game as well but with money on my account. That money still hasn't been
    deducted yet. They do that about 10 days before release.
