My account has a larger deadzone on the joysticks than others

For the past two years, I noticed that playing games became more difficult, but only recently have I discovered that when I assign a different account to my controller it feels way better/normal. I have looked at many aspects of an account and can't find anything that would seem to directly help me with this issue.

I made sure to use the same settings when testing this out in-game and I'm not sure about updating my controller because I'm using a third-party controller. I do feel like it has something to do with the accessories app though.

What you could try it's to update the controller or rollback the current update, also unassign it to not log in your account, but it's more probable that in games this Profile has different settings that other accounts as there's no controller settings per account, all accounts have the same settings in the same controller and definitely there's no dead zone adjust unless this is an elite controller

If it's not an official Xbox controller you should contact the manufacturer for troubleshooting, the Accessories app is only for official controller

Joysticks tend to drift after clicking them after awhile. If the game has a deadzone setting that will fix it.

Shuzus

Change the deadzone on the Joysticks, having the deadzone too low will cause drift because they're ultra sensitive
