My account got locked and I am not recieving a verification code

I know this isn't really about gaming, but because Microsoft's community doesn't have a Microsoft account category, this is the closest one because it's about minecraft. Anyways, some time after I migrated my Mojang (Minecraft) account to a Microsoft one, I haven't been able to play Minecraft because my account got locked. I don't exactly remember when it got locked, but what I do know is that it's over a month ago, I never logged onto any other site with that account, and whenever I try to get it back by sending a verification code by text, the TEXT NEVER ARRIVES!! I tried when to unlock it when it first got locked, and did some research. Apparently it hadn't worked for some other people too so I thought I'd try again in a week or so, but I didn't really feel like trying again because there was so much hassle. Now I wanted to play with my friends, but I AM STILL NOT RECIEVING THE TEXT! I have checked that I haven't blocked any numbers, I have no filtering, and nothing else that I know of that can cause the text not to go through. The worst part about this is maybe the fact that Microsoft didn't even say why it is locked! Just that "there has been some suspicious activity" or whatever, but not what it is. So can someone at Microsoft PLEASE help me?! I JUST WANT MY MINECRAFT ACCOUNT BACK!!! YOU BASICALLY STOLE IT AND I CAN'T RETRIEVE IT!!

I understand how challenging this login issue can be. I'd like to help you find a solution!

Sounds like there might be something up with your two-step verification method.

Try going to your account at account.microsoft.com and (temporarily) disabling two-step verification. Then try logging into the store again.

Turn off two-step verification:

If the login issue only occurs with the Microsoft Store app, go ahead and reset the app by pressing the Win + R key and type:

wsreset.exe

A blank Command Prompt window will open, and after about ten seconds the window will close and Microsoft Store will open automatically.

We haven’t recieved verification code at all. I just got a receipt of purchase. No code to use. So frustrating. Its taken over two says to connect this with no result yet. It shouldn’t be this hard.

Microsoft account To protect against fraud or abuse, Microsoft temporarily locks accounts when unusual activity occurs. To unlock your account, simply sign in to your Microsoft account and follow the instructions to get a security code. If you can't get a security code, or if your security code isn't working, go to When you can't sign in to your Microsoft account and follow the instructions under Can't get a verification code.

So i think my account is not permantly but temporarily lock (but i can't get the verification code so i need to use reinstatment form)

I got that same error code, but I went into my account and turned the double verification off and the issues was solved.

Double verification can be found in the Security Info.
