My account got hacked, I just changed my password but it still says that it's wrong

Sorry to hear about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. Just to set your expectation, due to our account safety and security, only us the account owners have the ability to recover our accounts and verify their ownership. Even a Microsoft Support cannot recover our accounts on our behalf because they're protected by the security information we have setup on our accounts which we only have access to.

To confirm, have you already tried to recover your account using the account recovery form here https://account.live.com/acsr?

@ngocphi, It is my Microsoft Account that get hacked (@outlook.com), which is used as my XBoxLive access, can they still help?

I certainly agree on the change account password often practice, but I wasn't aware of the proof until my account got hacked. I didn't use that account as my usual communication tool, so it's not broadcasted everywhere, and I don't use the same password
everywhere. Just answering your questions.

I tried that and still saying use the password for this microsoft account, literally just changed the password and wrote it down as I changed it. Idk what is wrong with it

Didn't work, now I can't even re-download my profile cuz it says the passwords wrong. That's just great.... especially since I still got paid gold membership on my account.

Are you saying someone got into your account as in, hacked into it? If so, I would suggest changing your password.
