My account got banned by one of my friends jokingly reporting me

My account was suspended immediately after one of my friends reported a message I sent to him as a joke. We often do this as it's quite funny to send each other stupid messages but when I immediately got banned I thought I'd have a look into it.

I tried contacting Xbox Live support initially who told me they could do nothing as it was the enforcement team and I would need to file a case review for any suspension over 24 hours (Mine appears to be 28 hours so if we are sticking to the rules, I should
be entitled to a case review). I contact xbox live support again to see if I could have any way of contact enforcement about this and they simply shoved me back onto the enforcement website and said nothing else.

I fully accept a message to randomers or what not is suspension worthy but I'd like to be able to plead the case it was a joke between my friends and I yet without anyway of contacting Enforcement I am now having to deal with a 28 hour ban with no way of
contesting.

Please can someone provide me with a way to contact Enforcement or explain why I am unable to contest a 28 hour ban as this makes no sense, thanks.

I accidently banned my friend

Since the suspension is so short it is not eligible for a review because the review would take longer than the suspension. It doesn't matter if your friends suspend you as a joke (which you shouldn't be doing anyway as you can get suspended for filing false
complaints). The enforcement team investigates every complaint they receive and will only issue a suspension if they have determined you have done something to violate the code of conduct.

This particular activity seems to be recently getting a lot of more attention, so for everyone's benefit please continue to pass this around. Rude and offensive even just a "little" has the potential to get you issued a ban for breaking Microsoft's ToS.
Friends who jokingly report things or report offensive behavior can get anyone banned. There is no distinction made. So understand if you put something that is reportable ANYONE has the opportunity to get your account banned whether they are your friends
even. And as for being a friend, don't jokingly report your buddy for something unless you do really mean it, because you can serve him a nice ban just for messing around.

Neither can an I, My account was permanently banned two weeks ago because my friend jokingly reported a message I sent him.The enforcement website doesn’t show my recent suspension and says my account is still at good standing. There is really nothing you can do until they fix their website because Xbox support can’t help resolve bans or suspensions.In another post they replied and said they have no ETA as to when it will be fixed which is very irritating.
