I'm afraid only way to recover an Xbox account is via the account recovery form here https://account.live.com/password/reset

You can try all the emails you remember or if you had a phone number attached to the account, you can use that too.

Sadly, an account cannot be recovered with the gamertag alone.

To clarify. I want a fresh start with the microsoft and xbox account but i dont want to delete the existing Microsoft account, i just want to put it under my cousin’s email and phone number so that the old account can be his and the new account can be mine. Instead they are both somehow connected to a single Microsoft account even though my email has been removed.

You will need to setup another Live/Hotmail/Outlook email address and assign your gamer tag you don't want to that address and then assign the gamer tag you do want to the right email.

Please note that closing your account will permanently delete all data associated with it, including your game progress and achievements.

To create a new Fortnite account, you can follow these steps:

• Go to Epic Games website and click on sign in at the top right corner.
  
• Choose one of the methods to sign in, such as Google, Facebook, etc.
  
• If you don’t have a linked Epic Games account, fill in your date of birth and click continue.
  
• Select your country, first name, last name and display name, and agree to the terms of service.
  
• Verify your email address with a code and download the Epic Games launcher.
