My Acccount CrystalPebbles got banned???? Why?!?! I HAVE NOT DONE ANYTHING

and my acccount that got banned was glennp2010

I wonder if they can actually do this in EU, in EU they passed a law that all digital content can be resold, if they ban your account and can't get it then wouldn't that be illegal? Hopefully a law passes in the US as well.

Banning console is more fair and makes more sense, when you ban a console you don't lose access to anything but XBL itself, which is really what they don't want. cheaters get a pretty big punishment, as they need a brand new xbox, $100+ is enough.

[/quote]That is false information. When you sign the TOU, you are agreeing to THOSE rules within that agreement. You are not agreeing to anything MS will amend to those rules in the future.



@Murderstyle -- Same thing applies. Currently, MS cannot take away (as you say they could) our DLC/stuff we've downloaded, but if they were to be able to, they would need to add that to the TOU. If that does happen, I would advise you to NOT agree to it.

And I bet that if it happend to you and you lost $1000s of dollars worth of games,videos.music,DLC and your gamerscore that you worked so hard to obtain you would do your absolute best not to make the same mistake
again am I right? If they just gave out little temp bans out the problem of people breaking the rules would never stop. I fully support the way they ban people if the person is stupid enough to do something that warrants a ban then to bad for them LIVE AND

Regardless though. The games are supposed to be property and this is why digital games fail. If they can take away things you paid money for over breaking their rules, what other reasons can they take them away for? What you are saying would be like getting
fired from your job for breaking their rules and them being able to keep your car because it is in their lot or in my case, have my tools confiscated because I bought them from their catalog.



All this proves is that our games and content is not safe from anything. Anything Microsoft decides to do with them, we will have to suck it up no matter how much we paid for them. Just wait until next gen when they decide to remove download access to old
games that nobody is buying anymore or that could not be compatable with the next console. It doesnt matter if you paid money for them or not. They can take them right away just like they did with our premium DLC from last gen. Hell. I have already experienced
it this gen with a special theme I wanted from Superbowl XL since it was played in my hometown. I paid for the theme however the content I paid for is now gone.

Sorry to hear about what happened. This is clearly not the situation I want you to be in. Just to set your expectation, due to our account safety and security, only us the account owners have the ability to recover our accounts and verify their ownership. Even a Microsoft Support cannot recover our accounts on our behalf because they're protected by the security information we have setup on our accounts which we only have access to.

Since your email address was replaced already, you cannot use your own email address to recover your account. You must know the current email address of your account which is the hacker’s email address to start the account recovery process. Without it, you cannot start the recovery process because it's the primary key of your account.

I suggest that you check your mailboxes (inbox, spam/junk, and trash folders) to find traces of the new email address that's currently linked to your original account. If the account was added to an Xbox console, it would be best to check it from there too.
