My 2fa device and phone number linked to an account of mine is gone and I cant log back in.

Additionally, you may want to generate recovery code which is accessible through your profile.

Additionally, we suggest that you to access your account on the known device or phone/PC that you once access and verified your account with. You may open a browser where you already have been signed into the website of Microsoft account and manage your security information or else turn off your two-step verification. so awhile back I deleted the correct phone number on my 2fa instead of the phone number that needed to be deleted. the phone number that needed to be deleted has an extra digit so i can't even send the code to that number to get the code. so now when i try to log into my account i can't get the code to change my password. since i have 2fa the account recovery form won't work. is there any way for the correct phone number to be put back on the account.

When you first initially setup 2fa it would have given you several backup codes and told you to save them in a safe place.

When it asks for the code being sent to your phone number you can enter in one of those backup codes instead.

If you didnt save said backup codes then the account will be unrecoverable.

I have made purchases on the account, could it be possible to link the purchases made and say my I.D.? Also one more thing, I have access to the Phone number but it doesnt allow me to log in with only that due to 2FA.
