My 10 year old Xbox One will not connect to my wireless network using the correct password.

So basically I put in my password to the wireless network, and i know that the password is correct, but it just doesn't even connect to the network. Not sure what to do to fix this problem.

The password for your wireless network. Whenever you connect a new wireless device to your wireless network you have to type a passphrase to access your wireless network.

Have you tried connecting via a ethernet cable instead of wireless due to this password issue you seem to be having?.

Some broadband routers allow you to change the password, so I have to ask you to try to make sure your internet wireless password is correct and to check if the correct ports on your router/broadband are opened.

Oddly, my Xbox One forgot my wireless connection. It can see my SSID, but when I enter my password it prompts that it isn't correct. After the 3rd try, it stopped prompting (though i put the same password). I connected, then it kicked me off the wireless
again. I ended up just wiring in the darn thing. I was on my lunch break, so I didn't have to to dig into the issue, but its not my network. My 4 laptops, two 360's, phones, etc all stay connected to the wireless and has no problems.
