Mw3 not working on consoles newer than Xbox 360

I just bought mw3 since the community is back playing call of duty games however when I want to play any game in multilayer it asks that I should buy or download DLC content. The issue is that I can't access them because I require the xbox 360 to purchase the dlc which I don't own. Can anyone help solve this matter?

The newer model type is just 360 S. My Star Wars console is not hooked up at the moment. I can put in place of the MW3 console and give it a try.

The 360 store is set up differently than the store on the One/website. The newer stores have never been updated to work with the currency system for 360 content. The only way to use that currency for 360 content is by using a 360 console.

It for sure looks bigger than an Xbox 360 Slim console AND the PS4 console. Certainly newer technology should mean its the same size or smaller than the Xbox 360 Slim. It looks like a VCR to me and doesn't even look as sleek as the Xbox 360 Slim console.
The only thing sleek about it is it's glossy finish and deep black colour. I think the Kinect sensor is smaller than the Xbox 360 Kinect sensor though (but it's more "square" than the Xbox 360 Kinect version). I think they're taking the "square" approach a
bit to seriously

Remind me to bring my ruler come launch so I can measure how much bigger it is than my Xbox 360 slim console.Certainly newer technology should mean lesser space. It may be more bigger than the 1st model of the Xbox 360 console.
