MW2 Xbox 360 version freezes on Series X/Xbox one when match loads

I have been trying to launch my 360 version of mw2 on my series x and xbox one and no matter what mode I launch online, as soon as the map loads up the game freezes. I cant even run a private match. It worked before but now I cant get past the map startup screen. I have tried downloading digital copy from app store, I tried doing a reset on xbox, etc. Any help would be appreciate so I can play with my friends.

A. Connect your console to a different source of internet temporarily, like a mobile hotspot, and try again.

B. Go to Console Settings > Network settings > Advanced > DNS > Manual
Use the next address as the primary 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 as the secondary.

Restart your console and try accessing the game.

You may also want to try with 8.8.8.8 as the primary and 8.8.4.4 as the secondary address.

C. Go to Console Settings > Network config > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear
Restart the console and verify if you can play the game.

Are you playing the Xbox One version or the Series X/S version of GTA Online?

Please make sure your version matches the shark card you purchased. Shark Cards for the Series X/S version will show "(Xbox Series X|S)" in the name in the order history.

Yes, I have installed new version of Xbox series X COD MW2 over the weekend and it looks like next gen performance. Also other games previously installed on my old Xbox one console run much faster (especially loading times) on the series X console. There is major gameplay differences with next gen and current gen versions of NBA 2K23, which is where I’m having the issue..?

if Xbox series s/x has cross play option for mw2 it's it possible from to download mw2 on Xbox series s if

it has cross play on this game.
