MW2 would not install

Discus and support MW2 would not install in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I tried to install season 5 MW2 and it would not work.     MW2 would not install


    I tried to install season 5 MW2 and it would not work. Interest connection is stable I tried wireless, normal and cable. I switched off disconnected the power cable waited 5 minutes and tried agin and nothing helped. I uninstalled the game and tried to re install it and the game sits at 0% progress and will not advance

    I'm Nilay and I'll be glad to answer your query today.

    Try canceling this installation, doing a cache cleanup, and then a reset while keeping games and Apps.

    The first is a cache cleanup:

    1. Go to xbox press and hold the XBOX power button on your console for 10 seconds until it turns off
    2. Wait 10 seconds for it to turn off
    3. Wait 1 minute with it off
    4. Turn it back on

    Xbox One reset keeping Games:

    Press the Xbox button to open the panel.
    Select system > Settings > System > Console Information
    Select Reset console.
    Restore and maintain my games and apps.
    Rest assured, you won't miss games or saves.

    I've brought mw2 on demands and it shows some issues

    If you have MW2 already Installed from your DVD game... delete it.

    Guide Button ->Settings -> System Settings -> Storage -> Games and Apps -> MW2 -> Installed Game.

    If yes, what console do you have?
    If you try installing a different game the issue persist or is this happening only with COD?

    Nice to meet you and I hope you are having a great day!

    I understand you need help on your game problem.

    Please try this:

    Press the Xbox One button on your controller.

    Go to Settings and select Devices and Connections

    In the BLU-RAY section select Persistent Storage.

    Next, select Clear persistent storage.

    Try the game again.

    If that does not work, try resetting the console.

    NOTE: This will remove the profiles on your console, make sure that you remember the email and password to your account.

    No data or game saves will be lost doing this, everything is backed up to the cloud servers.

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. Select System.

    4. Select Console info

    5. Select Reset console.

    6. Select Reset and keep my games & apps

    This will also help sync the data on your console properly.

    If in any case this does not work, try other disc games and if other disc games will work, there must be something wrong with the disc copy of your game and I would suggest replacing this already as it might already be corrupted for some reason.
