MW2 wont let me play. It says i need to purchase it to access everything.

When I load into my game I am able to play warzone, but i cannot play MW2. It is telling me i need to "Purchase Modern Warfare II to have access to everything."

I don't understand why because i do own it. Checked on the store there's no option to buy only Launch because "You own this." In the game when I click on "Purchase Modern Warfare" it prompts me to buy "FJX Cinder Weapon Vault" for $99. There is no other option to buy anything else. I've played before and I've done the entire campaign before so I have been able to play in the past. Even if I were to buy it again to play there isn't even an option for me to do so. Everywhere i look it tells me i own it.

We need to make sure that the game is successfully purchased under the account that you're using go to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders, and from there filter it to "All Available". Once found, you can follow the steps below:

Go to "My games and apps" > Installed games > Highlight the game > Press the Menu button > Go to "manage games and add-ons" > Click the game icon.

Make sure that these packs are installed:

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - Content Pack 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - Content Pack 3

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II - Content Pack 4

What if you can’t find it under successfully purchased but have all the packs installed? I was literally playing it yesterday now I have to buy it all over again?

What exactly is your Xbox console model?
When did this issue start to occur?
Are you able to launch your other games including other disc games just fine?

Try to re-add your account and power cycle your console.
Note: Before doing these steps, please make sure that you know exactly the email address linked with your gamertag and the password to it so you can add the correct account again.

1. Remove account:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select System > Settings > Account > Remove accounts. Select the account that you want to remove, and then select Remove to confirm. When you're finished, select Close.

2. Power cycle:
Press and hold the Xbox power button for 10 sec until it turns off. Unplug the power supply for 30 sec. Plug it back in and turn it on again.

3. Add account:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide. Select your gamerpic in the upper-left corner of the screen, move all the way down and select Add new.

Enter the email address for the Microsoft account that you want to add, and then select Enter.

I agree with Grey Pilgrim but, Me and my dad bought a MW2 and it wont play it will say open trey. But then we got a MW3 edition xbox and we hooked it up and it will play. We bought 2 games Blackops and a MW2 and both wont play. But on anouther console we
ALREADY had will play them the MW3 edition do we need it repaired please help!!!!!

Sort of the same here. It wont let me play any of my purchased games, takes me to the store, says I have to be online to access the store. I am connected to the internet and yes my xbox gold membership is active.
