    MW2 Cannot to Connect to Xbox Live


    Hi there,

    As can be seen in the subject, I am unable to connect to Xbox Live when I launch Modern Warfare 2 from my Xbox One X.

    At first I thought this could be a local issue just with MW2. So I tried launching other Xbox 360 games (Black Ops, MW3, Medal of Honor, etc) and they all failed to connect to Xbox Live. I am still able to play Xbox One games with full connectivity and all
    Xbox Live features so I am unsure what is going on.

    Additionally, I tried launching these Xbox 360 games on my brother’s profile; and surprisingly he is able to connect to Xbox Live on these 360 games. If it helps we are on the same Xbox Live plan that I believe expires in October, so we should be covered
    there.

    Finally, I’ll tell you what I have already tried:

    1. Restarting my Xbox One X.

    2. Uninstalling MW2 and reinstalling it.

    3. Deleting Xbox 360 Memory Storage from the Xbox One settings.

    I hope this is enough information for you guys to work with. If not please let me know and I will get back to you. I appreciate the help!

    I dled it just now and both my MW2 console and Gears console cannot connect to my local network or Live......

    Also look at my post on that link to make sure that none of those pertain to you also.

    This should fix your problem.

    Normally you have to redownload your profile on the 360s including the emulators on the Ones if you change your gamertag for whatever reason.

    just to be sure, to who their account is Xbox Live Gold connected?

    If it's connected to your brothers account be sure to ask your brother to check which console they have set as their Home console

    Cant connect to 1 peticular friend with OPEN NAT types.

    We also can't connect in an Xbox Live part or MW2 or BlackOps lobby

    Xbox LIVE accounts cannot be hacked using some "hacking tools" as some people may claim. Keep your personal info save and be careful while playing MW2 and World at War.
