MW 2 19 Do I have to purchase the game on pc if I have an account on Xbox?

The Call of Duty games are not Xbox Play anywhere titles. Therefore, you will need to buy the PC version of the game. The latest PC Call of Duty games can be purchased via battle.net

My account says I have to purchase to play multiplayer on cod mw but when I sign into my daughters account, it works.... I’ve reinstalled game, reset Xbox and reset MAC address

Here is the thing I have an account for the Xbox, I also have an account for the PC.

On the Xbox account my forza character level is 5, on the PC my character level is 44. I log in on the Xbox store and see that I have Minecraft and forza 7 and other purchases, on the other PC account I have game cards showing and not purchases ever done (I never bought game cards for the PC and no idea if you can at all).

I should have Forza 7 for Xbox (as it was a dics purchase as well as my PC account.

A game was stolen from me and I have a feeling it has to do with the migration with Minecraft for some reason.

I have recently got back into mw 2 but its a good game when played right.But the minute i started i was getting the usual messages of boosting and 10th prestige lobbys.Also there are way to many snipers but i have noticed alot people trying to do 360 kills
to look cool.Im still going to get mw 3 though despite all the problems on mw 2.

- Are you prompted to purchase Game Pass once inside the game?

With the exemption of free-to-play games like Fortnite, Warzone, Apex Legends, etc, all console games, purchased or not, require an active subscription to either Game Pass Core or Game Pass Ultimate (includes Game Pass Core) to play online on the Xbox Network. I believe this may be the reason why you are being prompted to buy a subscription.

To clarify:

• Offline/story/campaign modes can be accessed without a subscription, it's just online features that require one.

• Some games like Fallout 76, Elder Scrolls Online, and Final Fantasy XIV are online only and therefore require an active subscription to play their only game mode.

• Game Pass Core is what Xbox Live Gold used to be, it's just that It was renamed and restructured to offer additional services in addition to online gaming.
